Chrissy Teigen is getting backlash for her comments on her desire to avoid hiring good looking nannies when she has children with husband John Legend.

While attending Lauren Conrad’s show at New York Fashion Week, the Sports Illustrated model and Lip Sync Battle co-host said she won’t hire any good looking staff to tempt her husband.

“No hot nannies, drivers, or maids,” she told the New York Post.

“It’s an ongoing joke in my house. I do want to have kids one day, so it’s something that I have to think about. But the rule is no hot nannies. I trust John, but you never know with these men.”

She went on to say it isn’t even about looks anymore, adding, “Sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do. It’s too late for me, though, because I have a hot assistant.”

Teigen, who married the “All Of Me” singer in 2013, got some backlash for the comment and she addressed her words on Twitter.

“Just like low carb diet of licking chips, my ‘no hot nannies’ comment was a joke, clearly lost upon many,” she wrote. “What is life. why must i type this.”

She added, “I don't just go into random rants about hot nannies. The post asked, I jokingly answered. It isn't that f--king deep.”
