Christie Brinkley and John Mellencamp spotted out on second date in three days in NYC

It seems Monday’s first date between Christie Brinkley and John Mellencamp went well because they were spotted out on a second date in the same week.

Brinkley accompanied him to Wednesday’s taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert at New York City's Ed Sullivan Theater, where he performed with Willie Nelson.

People obtained a photograph of the rumored new couple as they smiled from ear to ear while riding in the back of an SUV together.

After the show, they went to Chalk Point Kitchen in Soho with a group of friends. A source said, “The mood was great and happy.”

As we previously reported, Meg Ryan’s ex was seen out with a smiling Brinkley, having dinner together in New York on Monday.

Brinkley has been married four times, and counts Billy Joel as one of her exes. Mellencamp has been married three times.
