After being an advocate for the LGBT community for months, Caitlyn Jenner is facing some heat over comments made about gay marriage.
The transgender reality star visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, and fans are still talking about her conversational comments. According to E! News, When host Ellen DeGeneres asked Jenner about being a “conservative republican,” she said, "Gay marriage. I have to admit that I remember 15 years ago, 20 years ago whenever it was the whole gay marriage issue came up at first, I was not for it.”
Jenner continued to explain her opinion and how her thoughts on the issue have evolved. “I mean I like tradition and it's always been between a man and a woman and I'm thinking I don't quite get it,” she said. “But as time goes on, like a lot of people on this issue I've really changed thinking here, to I don't ever want to stand in front of anybody's happiness.”
Despite Jenner insisting that she was now on board with gay marriage throughout the rest of the interview, DeGeneres visited The Howard Stern Show and was not so sure.
The talk show host said, "She still has a judgment about gay marriage. You're wanting people to understand and accept you, this is like, really confusing to people.”
Jenner has yet to say anything about her comments on Ellen.
