Game of Thrones is adding another member to its star-studded cast.

Veteran British actor Richard E. Grant has signed onto season six of the HBO show,
according to Entertainment Weekly. The actor has recently appeared in another HBO show, Girls, as well as the BBC shows Downton Abbey and Doctor Who.

As of now, no details have been released as to which role Grant will be playing.

It was previously reported that HBO cast actor Ian McShane in another mystery role in Game of Thrones as well as Max von Sydow in a recasting of the Three-Eyed Raven. It was also reported, according to sources, that McShane will get a relatively small amount of screen time, but his character is of key importance to the show.

Freddie Stroma will be joining the cast as Dickon Tarly, (Samwell’s brother), and Pilou Asbaek has been case as Euron Greyjoy, (Theon’s uncle.)

Season six of Game of Thrones will premiere next spring. The show started production in August and is expected to return for 10 episodes. HBO’s programming president Michael Lombardo revealed this summer that the network plans to carry Game of Thrones for at least eight seasons, up from the seven seasons that have been reported in the past.
