Although her Game of Thrones character, Daenerys Targaryen, films plenty of them, Emilia Clarke says she’s not a fan of sex scenes in the slightest.
In fact, Clarke went as far as to say she “can’t stand” filming sex scenes and thinks the show needs to tone them down.
“Sex scenes should be more subtle,” she told MailOnline. “I’m British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway — I can’t stand it.”

Clarke’s co-star, Oona Chaplin, has revealed the actress requested to stop being shown topless on the show two years ago. She said she wanted to be “known for my acting, not my breasts.”
“I don’t want to have sex thrown in my face and I’ve always thought the suggestion is so much more titillating than the act itself,” Clarke continued.
She also went on to say about adding sex scenes to films or television shows, that they’re “gratuitous and they’re usually just to attract an audience.”
