MONDAY - At Patrick’s place, Patrick asked a shocked Sam to marry him. Then, he revealed that he wasn’t planning to propose and that he didn’t even have a ring, but the moment felt right. He then quickly noticed that she wasn’t saying yes. Sam then replied that she was hesitating because of Jason. He replied that he knew that she would always love Jason, but Sam explained that it was the timing. She then revealed that her wedding anniversary to Jason was tomorrow, which he understood. She then told him that his proposal was too important and suggested that they table the question for now so it wasn’t hindered by the past. Patrick then asked if she could see herself married to him one day and she said yes.

At the Quartermaines, Tracy and Dillon discussed how much Paul seemed to have changed. Maxie then added that she though Tracy was into Paul, but Tracy said that they only hoped to be friends. Tracy then explained her past with Paul, including his shady dealings with the mob. Maxie thought Paul was a lawyer. Tracy replied that he was and that the mob had strong armed him into working for them. Tracy also explained that she had been burned too many times and Dillon felt that his mom proceeding with caution with her love life was a good idea. Maxie just wanted everyone to be as happy since she was and suggested that Tracy jump in with both feet since it was clear that Paul seemed to make her happy.

Paul showed up at Ava’s door with an offer to help her. He introduced himself and then dangled the flash drive in front of her. She then invited him in and he helped himself to a drink. Ava wanted to know how much he wanted for the recording. Paul replied that he had money, what he wanted now was power. He then added that they were going to run the Jerome organization together and then he revealed that he had been the one targeting Sonny and the one who shot him. Paul wanted them to move now and snatch Sonny’s territories, but Ava wondered why she should throw in with him given he was framing her brother. Paul then reminded her that he had the flash drive, so he wasn’t asking her to help him, he was telling her to. Ava then wondered why he needed her, so he explained that he liked to be the man behind the curtain. Ava realized that he would be a silent partner, which Paul said would keep his family in the dark.

At GH, Elizabeth came in to check on Sonny and changed his bandages. Carly left the room and Elizabeth patched Sonny up and gave him more medication. Sonny then told her that he wished Jason were alive to see her get her son back.

Meanwhile, Jake/Jason showed up to check on Carly and she told him about what was going on with Morgan. Jake/Jason offered to go find Morgan for her. Elizabeth then came out of Sonny’s room and told Jake/Jason that Sonny wanted to see him. Jake/Jason went in to see Sonny, who told him that he could always count on him. Elizabeth and Carly heard this.

Michael and Milo arrived at Alexis’ place looking for Morgan, but only found TJ. Michael then explained that Morgan was out for revenge on Julian and he asked TJ to help him find Morgan before it was too late. After Michael argued with TJ for a while, TJ finally told Michael and Milo that Morgan was there and was going after Alexis and Julian at a cabin.

Morgan arrived at the cabin and held Julian and Alexis at gunpoint. He then forced Julian to give up his gun or else he would shoot Alexis. Morgan then told Julian that he was dead for shooting his dad and wouldn’t listen when Julian tried to tell him that he had nothing to do with it. Then, Alexis tried to reason with Morgan and begged him to put the gun down since Sonny wouldn’t want him to do this. They then argued back and forth and Morgan asked Julian if he wasn’t behind the shooting, then who was. Julian didn’t know, but said that any of the other rival families could be after his territory and Sonny. Alexis then told Morgan that he was going to have to kill her too since she was an eye witness. Julian then begged Morgan to let Alexis go. Morgan ordered Alexis to give him her phone, which she did and then he told her to leave. Julian pleaded with Alexis to go. She told Julian that she loved him and then ran out of the cabin. Michael arrived just as a gunshot went off.

TUESDAY - Dillon and Maxie went over his script at the Quartermaines, but Dillon’s mind was on his father. The two then discussed his mistrust of his father and how Paul hadn’t been a big part of his life. Dillon then told her that he was worried that his mom and him were just fallbacks for his father losing Jenny. Maxie replied that she understood how he felt and talked about how she would rather have what she had with Frisco than nothing at all from him. Then, Dillon realized that Maxie was telling him that he needed to learn to accept the good with the bad. However, he added that he worried that his dad could be manipulating him, especially with regards to the movie and that things wouldn’t last.

At Julian’s penthouse, Paul and Ava discussed becoming partners and that Paul wanted to remain a silent partner so his family didn’t know who he really was. She was shocked to learn his son was a Quartermaine. Ava wasn’t sold on the idea since she was more focused on getting her daughter back, which Paul pointed out could be hard because of how well connected Carly and Sonny were. Paul then indicated that he can help her since he was going to become the new DA of Port Charles thanks to his good friend Mayor Lomax. He then asked Ava for her decision and she accepted his deal. Paul then told her that he would be in touch and then he left.

At GH, Elizabeth and Carly listened as Sonny kept referring to Jake/Jason as Jason and begged him to help protect his family. Sonny eventually passed out and Elizabeth explained that Sonny’s behavior was because of the morphine. Carly understood, but wished Jason were there now to help since she didn’t know what to do. Sonny then began screaming for Jason again, so Carly told him that Jason was there. Sonny then asked Jake/Jason, whom he still thought was Jason, to go stop Morgan. Jake/Jason told him that he was handling it and then Sonny passed out once again. Jake/Jason decided to go find Morgan and Carly told him to start with Alexis. Elizabeth didn’t want him to get involved since helping Sonny and Carly was what got Jason killed.

At Alexis’ place, TJ left a message for Morgan to try and stop him from doing anything crazy. Then, Ric arrived to see Molly, who was upstairs because she wasn’t feeling well. Ric then ranted about Sonny’s situation and how Julian was getting away with it. Later, Ric got a call from Mayor Lomax and learned that he was now out as Acting DA after failing to put Ava away. Ric then left and told TJ that he would check on Molly tomorrow.

Alexis rushed out of the cabin and right into Michael. She told him what was going on just as a gunshot went off. Michael then rushed inside, followed by Alexis. Julian was on the ground, but he wasn’t dead. He was knocked unconscious during a struggle, but Morgan still planned to shoot him. Michael then tried to talk him down, but Morgan wouldn’t listen to reason. Then, Michael let him know that their dad was alive and that Sonny remembered Morgan telling him that he was going to kill Julian for shooting him knew his plan to and wanted him to stop. Morgan replied that he had to protect Sonny, but Michael said that their father only cared about what was best for Morgan. Morgan eventually let Julian go, but Michael warned Julian that he wouldn’t overlook what he did to his father. Then, Michael and Morgan left.

WEDNESDAY - At Patrick’s place, Sam looked through a box of Jason’s things and thought about their wedding. She then went to see Patrick and worried that he was upset about asking him to put the proposal on hold. Patrick replied that he was only upset with himself for blindsiding her and that his timing could have been better. She then assured him that she would accept his proposal when she was ready. The two then made love and then Patrick went to work.

Jake/Jason woke up at Elizabeth’s place having dreamed of saying his wedding vows. He told her about dreaming about a wedding and she told him that it was the anniversary of when they first met. Elizabeth then suggested that they just go get married today. Yet, Jake/Jason told her that today didn’t seem like a good day, since it felt insensitive with Sonny in the hospital. He also pointed out that Carly was a good friend of his, who wasn’t able to have her own wedding. Elizabeth understood, but Jake/Jason then said he thought he knew the perfect date for their wedding.

Scott showed up to check on Ava at Julian’s penthouse, only to find her chipper and he wondered why. She claimed that if Ric or Paul had the flash drive then they would have used it against her by now, but so far she wasn’t in jail. She then wanted Scott to get to work on getting her back her daughter, but Scott reminded her that she still owed him five million dollars. Ava fired back that he lost the flash drive, but she agreed to give him one million if he could put Avery in her arms by the end of the day.

At the Quartermaines, Dillon toasted with his dad to his new job as DA. However, he did worry about Paul taking on the mob, which would put him in danger. Paul tried to reassure his son that he knew what he was getting into. Dillon then asked about the screw-up with Ava which landed him this job and if he was going to put her away. Paul replied that Ava would pay along with all mobsters in Port Charles since they all answered to him now. Dillon had to get to The Haunted Star and get to work on his film, but told Paul how proud of him he was before he left.

Julian and Alexis returned to her place and Alexis still couldn’t believe Morgan had acted the way he did. She also feared that Julian was still in danger and still needed to go away for a while. Julian refused to go into hiding and said that he would take care of things. He then decides to go pay Ava a visit to find out what was happening with her.

At GH, Morgan refused to see a doctor and Michael and Carly argued with him about his erratic behavior. They then told him that Sonny wanted him to get help, but Morgan didn’t care if he was bipolar since he only wanted to send someone to get Julian. Michael then pointed out that they didn’t know if it was Julian who really shot Sonny and Carly suggested that it could have been Ava. Carly then realized that now that Ava was free that she would be coming for Avery. Carly and Michael then started to formulate a plan and decided to bring Ric in to see if he could prove that he was on this family’s side and go up against Ava. Morgan didn’t think they could trust Ric, but said that they didn’t have any other choice. Carly then called Ric and he agreed to help them. then, Sabrina brought Avery in and Carly promised that the baby that she would never let Ava get her hands on her.

Julian returned to his penthouse to see Ava and catch up. He told her about Morgan’s attempt to kill him and that he needed to find out who was framing him. He then asked Ava to help him by making some calls to some of their old associates to see if they knew anything. Ava replied that she would do anything for him. Then, Julian left to start making some calls to old associates for some leads. Later, Scott arrived with news for Ava.

THURSDAY - Alexis met Paul at the Quartermaines to discuss Julian. She admitted that she had a personal relationship with Julian. Alexis then went on to insist that Julian was innocent and that the witness against him was lying. Paul wasn’t swayed and wondered who she thought the criminal mastermind behind all of this might be. Then, he assured her that he didn’t intend to put innocent people behind bars. She thought that he was a breath of fresh air.

Sam paid her father a visit at the penthouse. Julian was jumpy, so she suggested that he either get some protection or leave town. He replied that he wasn’t going anywhere and was determined to find out who was framing him. He then added that so far he was clueless so she offered to help. He was reluctant to let her, but she was insistent. Sam then told him about Patrick's proposal and how the timing was off because it was her wedding anniversary to Jason. Julian then repeated his request that she stay away from trying to clear him. After she left, Alexis showed up and assured him that the new DA was cautiously open-minded about his innocence.

Michael strolled into GH and bumped into Jake/Jason. They caught up and Michael told him how crucial Jason was to Sonny’s operations. Jake/Jason then mentioned that Sonny mistook him for Jason. The topic then turned to his wedding to Elizabeth and Michael got an invite. Jake/Jason then offered to get some food for the family and left to do so.

Meanwhile, Patrick checked in on Sonny and reminded him that Jake/Jason saved him and that he mistook him for Jason. Sonny was sure there was more to that than the fact that he was on morphine. Patrick then told him what happened when he was shot. "I knew Jake was good, but didn't know he was as good as Jason," Sonny replied. They then discussed Sam's ongoing attachment to Jake/Jason.

Out in the corridor, Ava showed up and cornered Carly and baby Avery. She then announced that she was there for her daughter. Morgan lurked as the women bickered and Carly called Ava an unfit parent. They then bickered about Morgan and his wandering libido. When Ava reminded Carly she had no rights, Carly called Milo to take her away. Ava then whipped out a piece of paper. Scott had gotten a court order stating that Ava had every right to see Avery and even take her home. Carly refused to let her, but Morgan encouraged her not to violate the court order. Carly caved, but after reading the court order, pointed out that the custodial parent needed 24 hours notice. Ava had to hand Avery back, but she promised to be back for her. Once she left, Patrick came out and told Carly she could take Avery in to see Sonny now. As Ava headed to the elevators, Paul called and asked her to meet. He said he was ready to make his next move against Sonny.

Sam went to the Noodle Buddha and took out her wedding memorabilia. Then, Jake/Jason showed up.

FRIDAY - At the penthouse, Alexis tried assuring Julian that the new DA may give him a fair shot. They then talked about Patrick's proposal being rejected. Alexis hoped he would ask Sam again. Julian then talked about putting the mob behind him and how excited he was to have a future with Alexis.

Ava met with Paul on the pier. He told her that he had arranged for a meeting of the five families and expected her to be there. She replied that she couldn’t go public as the head of the Jerome organization or she might lose her daughter. Paul then pointed out that Sonny was in the same position. Paul expected Ava to give the families the details of Sonny's shooting and wanted her to name Julian as the shooter. When she refused and threatened to expose him, he threatened her back and issued orders. Once she was gone, he made a call, telling someone that Ava was at the meeting.

At GH, Michael and Morgan discussed Ava going after Avery. Then, Ric showed up saying he had information about the real shooter’s identity. Michael and Morgan demanded to hear it. Ric then explained that the five families were having a discussion about it and that he planned to go in Sonny’s place. Michael and Morgan refused to allow that and then Morgan said that he wanted to go. "You're joking, right?" Ric asked. Michael then ordered Ric to focus on the custody case. After Ric left, Michael told Morgan that he wasn’t going to the meeting either. Morgan had a tantrum and then Michael insisted that he was the only one who could go and the only one the families would take seriously.

Meanwhile, Carly and Avery visited Sonny in his room. He sensed something was wrong. She told him about Ric getting ousted as the Da and Ava's court order. He didn’t t take the news well. Then, Morgan came in to take Avery away. Sonny vowed not to let Ava get her hands on his daughter, but Carly warned him that they might have an uphill battle. He then muttered that he would take care of Ava himself if the courts didn't. Carly then begged Sonny for no more bloodshed, but he didn’t make any promises. "Marry me, right now," she blurted out.

Out at the nurses' station, Patrick overheard Elizabeth blabbing on the phone about her upcoming wedding. She got off the phone and Patrick congratulated her on setting a date. He told her he was envious and that Jason was getting in the way of his wedding hopes. He added that Sam had turned him down because of his terrible timing, but he suspected there might be more to it and they might not be meant to be together. "That's not true!" Elizabeth blurted out. She then encouraged him not to give up. He replied that he wasn’t, but he wondered why Elizabeth was supporting his relationship so intensely.

The five families met at a wedding. Michael represented the Corinthos family. Then, Ava sauntered in and announced that she had the information they were looking for.

Jake/Jason startled Sam when he popped up at the Noddle Buddha. He told her he was there to get some food that didn’t taste like old socks. She then told him the story of getting married there. He had vague flashes of it, but brushed them off. Sam then informed him of Patrick's proposal and her rejection. She had brought her figurines out tonight in the hopes that she could come full circle with losing Jason. Although, she loved Patrick and wanted to accept his proposal, she couldn't because part of her couldn’t accept that Jason was gone. Jake/Jason suggested that she really didn’t want to let go. "Deep down inside, I still think Jason's alive," she admitted.
