Hulk Hogan will make his first public appearance since the WWE fired him over the racist rant in his leaked sex tape. Unfortunately for American wrestling fans, you will have to go to England to see him and tickets will not come cheap.
Hogan will appear at the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England on Nov. 14 for an event called An Evening With Hulk Hogan. The event was set up by Simply Prestige & Rocco Buonvino.
Attendees will get to meet and take photos with Hogan and other wrestlers. While some of the cheaper tickets will give you a chance to meet Lanny Poffo, Jimmy Hart, Outback Jack, Bushwacker Luke, Tugboat and The Dynamite Kid, you have to spend 235 pounds (over $362) to actually meet Hogan.
The expensive VIP tickets get you a seat in the first four rows, a chance to ask Hogan a question, along with a photo and autograph.
This event will be Hogan’s first appearance since his emotional apology on Good Morning America last moth. He insisted that he is not racist, despite using the n-word in a tirade caught on the audio of a sex tape he made.
“I'm not a racist but I never should have said what I said. It was wrong. I'm embarrassed by it,” he told GMA. “People need to realize that you inherit things from your environment. And where I grew up was south Tampa, Port Tampa, and it was a really rough neighborhood, very low income. And all my friends, we greeted each other saying that word.”
