Former supermodel Janice Dickinson was hospitalized after she had an allergic reaction to a bee sting and collapsed while in the Diary Room during Tuesday night’s broadcast of Celebrity Big Brother UK.
TMZ reported that after Dickinson was stung by a bee, she began explaining to producers that she needed an EpiPen because of how bad of a reaction she was having. Her hand was discolored and she was having a difficult time catching her breath.
At one point the 60-year-old was heard saying, "I don't want it to reach my heart!"
She then looked to be having a seizure and collapsed. She was transported to a local hospital and later released.
The Daily Mail noted that viewers in the UK were absolutely shocked to see Dickinson’s terrifying ordeal air. Many tweeted that the footage should not have been shown and found it to be in poor taste.
Dickinson is the second Big Brother UK contestant to end up in the headlines in the past few days. As we previously reported, Tila Tequila also made the news for an entirely different reason. The former MTV reality star was kicked out of the house after she made anti-Semitic comments and producers found a picture of her in Nazi garb online.
