It’s been over 20 years since Nicole Brown Simpson died, but Kris Jenner is still thinking about her friend.

Jenner is opening up about Nicole in a new Lifetime Documentary called The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story, according to US Weekly.

“I will always feel guilty that I didn’t pay more attention and didn’t speak up when I thought anything was wrong or asked her more, ‘Do you want to talk about it?” Jenner says.

Nicole was stabbed to death in June 1994, and her husband, football star O.J. Simpson, was arrested for her murder. Jenner’s ex husband, the late Robert Kardashian, was on O.J.’s defense team in the murder trial. He was acquitted in 1995.

“At the end of Nicole’s life, I think she finally was at a place where she knew she had to be more vocal with what was going on and she was in trouble,” Jenner says. “The one thing she would tell all of us by the time, you know, it got to that level was, ‘He’s going to kill me and he’s going to get away with it.’”

Lifetime is not the only network creating a special about the infamous O.J. trial. FX is currently filming The People v O.J. Simpson, a miniseries based on The Run of his Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin.

Selma Blair is set to play Jenner, while Cuba Gooding Jr. is playing O.J. and David Schwimmer is playing Kardashian.
