Melissa Rivers has revealed she spread some of her late mother Joan Rivers’ ashes in Wyoming while she was there last month on their family’s annual vacation.

She said she took the vacation with her son, Cooper, and it was their first time there without the Fashion Police star.

We “scattered some of her ashes there so we can still be together every August as a family,” she told ET.

The one-year anniversary of Rivers’ death is coming up this Friday, and Melissa said she’s just going to have a normal day with a “glass of wine” at the end.

As far as honoring her mother’s legacy, she just wants for her son, who starts high school this year, to be “OK.”

She explained, “I think the most important thing is that Cooper is OK. For my mother, that would be the most important thing this year, that Cooper is OK."

Melissa joined Fashion Police this season to carry on her mother’s legacy after the drama that plagued the show last season. They even added a segment called "What would Joan say?" to honor her.
