Reese Witherspoon is celebrating her daughter Ava Phillippe’s birthday on Instagram, and getting the internet talking about how the mother-daughter duo looks exactly alike. Bustle pointed out the many times the pair could be mistaken as twins.
Witherspoon’s post, which included two pictures of her daughter with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, read “Wow! My sweet girl turns 16 today! I am so blessed to have such a kind, compassionate, brilliant, artistic, all-around wonderful daughter who makes me a better person everyday. I [heart] you @avaphillippe”

This is not the first time Witherspoon is taking to Instagram to post pictures of her children. The actress shared an adorable video of her son with husband Jim Toth, Tennessee, mouthing the words to the song “Banana Phone.” She captioned the Dubsmash video, ““Good Morning! Pick up the banana phone #toddlertime #funwithfruit."
Time will tell if Ava follows in her mother’s footsteps to be a fashion icon. People recently named Witherspoon one of the best dressed women in Hollywood.
