Snoop Dogg has announced plans to launch a dedicated marijuana website at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco on Monday.
The website, MerryJane.com, will be a community website startup centered around the marijuana lifestyle and business, and will feature content from various partners, including actor Seth Rogan, reported VentureBeat.
The site is set to launch in October and will only allow 420 people into the beta site.
“Snoop has been at the forefront of this throughout his entire year.” Merry Jane partner Ted Chung said at the TechCrunch Disrupt.
Certainly no stranger to marijuana, Snoop Dogg has said that Merry Jane will serve as an “information hub” for pot-related news, and will have other content centered around the marijuana lifestyle, including a food show on how to make edibles and a “deflowered” series serving to detail first time experiences, reported MSNBC.
“I enjoy it for medical reasons, and it’s a peace situation for me,” the “Gin and Juice” rapper turned entrepreneur said. “I always see beautiful things around me. I’ve always been an advocate for me.”
Snoop Dogg also hinted that Miley Cyrus is already on board with the site.
