Michael Fassbender's portrayal of Steve Jobs will be seen by audiences everywhere on Oct. 9, but the film is already receiving praise from Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
Wozniak saw a rough cut of the film, according to Deadline.
"I saw a rough cut and I felt like I was actually watching Steve Jobs and the others. Not actors playing them, I give full credit to Danny Boyle and Aaron Sorkin for getting it so right," said Wozniak.
This project has endured many ups and downs throughout the filmmaking process. Christian Bale was originally set to star as Jobs and David Fincher was on board to direct. After the project went to a different studio, Fincer left the film. Quickly after Fincher's departure, Danny Boyle came on board and directed the bio pic. It appears that despite the changes the film has prevailed.
The movie debuted last week during the Telluride Film Festival and early reviews have almost all been positive, People reported.
Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Michael Stuhlbarg and Seth Rogen, also star in the bio pic.
