NCIS: New Orleans came back last night for their sophomore season and they came in with a bang. When a military convoy is bombed during a training exercise leaving two dead, the team must investigate to find out what happened. They discover that the convoy had a missile known as Excalibur on it and now it is missing. After looking for evidence, they discover a man named Mark Yaden was behind the bombing. However, when he kills himself after uttering a phrase said by a presidential assassin, they realize something bigger is going on.

Through the course of the investigation, the team discovers Yaden was part of a militia group who does not like the government. In order to infiltrate the group, which is run by Brant Boudreau and his second-in-command Zed Hastings, Pride goes undercover in order to find out what they want with Excalibur. But when Pride goes missing, the team must figure out how to get him back carefully.

While this is going on, ATF Agent Sonja Percy joins the team and must deal with hazing from her fellow teammates. She acclimates to the group and wants to do her work, but she has to learn how to work with a team now and not on her own. In addition, Brody begins receiving weird photos that she thinks are of herself in high school, but then she realizes that the people in the photos are her deceased sister and her friends, but someone put her own face in the photo.

With the new case coming to an end, we discover one team member is in danger. Having set up the season already, we are in for an exciting ride. For now, here is a list of some of the top moments from last night’s episode “Sic Semper Tyrannis.”
