According to BuzzFeed news, Freddie Stroma has been cast as Dickon Tarly, brother of Samwell, in Season 6. Stroma is known for his role as bachelor Adam Cromwell on the Lifetime series Unreal.

Unreal, a new dramedy following the behind the scenes of a fictional reality show, premiered on Lifetime this past summer and was a surprise hit. Ratings were solid enough to earn it a second season, and Stroma is expected to return. Stroma has also played Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter films.

What do we know about Dickon Tarly? Not much, as Sam's brother has never appeared in George R.R. Martin's novels, only being mentioned by other characters. We do know he's Sam's younger brother, the fifth child of Lord Randyll Tarly, and he is married to Eleanor Mooton as of the most recent book. Other than that, the character is pretty much a blank slate for this upcoming season.

Game of Thrones has been casting a lot of new characters for Season 6 lately including Pilou Asbæk as Euron Greyjoy, uncle of Theon, as we previously reported.

Game of Thrones Season 6 will premiere in spring 2016.
