ABC has been pulling out all the stops for the upcoming Muppets reboot, creating a whole storyline surrounding Kermit and Miss Piggy’s shocking split after four decades together. In a new promo, we get to see the moment Kermit first lays on his new love interest, Denise from marketing.

Kermit and Miss Piggy confirmed their split during a tense joint appearance at the Television Critics Association press tour last month, and since then we’ve been introduced to Denise in a new photo.
But Kermit denied that Denise is his official “girlfriend” in a tweet on Tuesday night.
In a new promo, it’s clear Kermit and Denise have chemistry because they couldn’t take their eyes off of each other.
Kermit is seen talking with Ken Jeong but gets distracted by Denise riding by on a golf cart, who seems to be reciprocating his feelings of infatuation.
Jeong remarks, “You really have a type, huh?” making light of the fact that Denise is also a pig.
