Fans of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise have something to look forward to on the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. There will be a crossover with Real Housewives of New York when Bethenny Frankel joins the ladies.

Frankel filmed with some of the cast members this past summer when they were in the Hamptons, where the Skinnygirl founder has a home. She’s an old friend of the Richards sisters, Kyle and Kim Richards, so the crossover isn’t too far of a stretch.

Frankel joined Kyle and some of the other cast members for dinner one night, where a source told E! News, "Bethenny was Bethenny. She was very direct with everyone. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind."

Kim wasn’t in the Hamptons with the cast, as she has had a rough past several months with two arrests.

Frankel has spoken her mind about the issues between the Richards sisters on Watch What Happens Live before, saying they live in an “alternative universe” in Beverly Hills. "They're living this, but then they're also living it in the press, on Instagram, on Twitter,” she said of their problems.

“It's really really murky, and I don't know how they're going to get out of it, she continued. “Being on television together… it doesn't seem like it's going in a good direction."
