Walter awakens and climbs from a tent. He and Harry slept in the yard with their military gear. Walter says he had a carnal dream about death sentence Suzanne and explains a good orgasm to Harry. He says it’s like a red comet up the spine that sears across the brain and leaves a black void. They discuss that it’s been 33 years since the war ended.
Roy from next door calls over the wall. Harry invites him for coffee. Roy asks if they’re doing cosplay. Harry says they camp on the anniversary of the Faulklands to celebrate the end of the war. He invites Roy to the party they’re having for it that night. Roy says he’ll bring Sylvia, the porn actress who keeps asking about Harry.
Jim asks Celia if she’s bringing anybody to Walter’s party. She says no. He’s planning on leaving early because people always spit food in his mouth at parties. Celia says if he sticks with her, she promises not to spit in his mouth.
Shelly is doing pushups at Martin’s desk. She wants to be buff for the party. Martin tells her he’s bringing another woman named Rosalie. Walter walks by and Martin says the psychiatrist is waiting in his office. Harry sees Shelly lifting books and tells her she’d make an excellent arm wrestler.
Jim asks Harry why he’s so devoted to Walter. Harry says he was bleeding out from shrapnel during the war and Walter risked his own life to save him.
Rosalie interrupts Walter’s session with the doctor to let him know that Gardner wants to see him in his office. When the doctor yells that they’re in session, she gives him the finger. The doctor then asks Walter if she’ll be at the party.
Rosalie tells Walter that Gardner wants him to do a story covering an anti-gay congressmen who was exposed by a male prostitute. Walter doesn’t want to do what he calls a ‘tabloid story.’ He wants to do an editorial about the Faulklands. Gardner shows up and tells Walter that the story is very important to him. He walks away saying he’s bringing a date to the party.
Walter does the story about the congressman’s anti-gay campaign being wrong, but what he did in the bedroom was fine. He then mentions the end of the war and wishes for those fallen to rest in peace.
At the start of the party, Walter tries to give a speech about the war, but has difficulty getting through it. Harry finishes it for him. Roy then shows up with a petting goat.
Gardner stops Walter and introduces him to his date – the man who told Walter on air that he wasn’t circumcised. Gardner says he met him in a men’s room. Moby comes in and Gardner takes a selfie of all of them. Everyone is high and dancing.
Martin introduces Walter to his date, Rosalie. The other Rosalie left Teddy home because he was having a bad day. She’s upset to see Martin with someone else and goes for another drink. Celia and Jim hold a drinking game where they tell something strange about themselves and then drink. She asks Jim to get them whiskey.
One of the men Walter met at the Sex and Love Addicts meeting is there talking to Shelly. Jim tries talking to him and the man spits a piece of hotdog in Jim’s mouth. He apologizes and Jim walks it off. Shelly hits it off with the sex addict.
Walter finds Sam bartending. Walter’s ex-wife appears and asks if he’s okay with Moby DJ’ing. He says he accepts that they’re dating. Bertie’s teacher is there. She says it may be inappropriate to party with a student’s parents, but she’s having fun.
Jim can’t find Celia. Rosalie takes a drink from Jim’s hand that was meant for Celia. Martin then introduces Rosalie to his date, Rosalie. She wishes them well. Martin asks if it’s okay. She tells him it’s fine, but watches them as they leave. She finds the psychiatrist who asks her if she wants to talk or do a line of cocaine. She says both.
Harry is talking with Jeffrey. Sylvia and her mom approach them. Harry walks off, leaving them with Jeffrey.
Harry grabs the arm of the man who accused Walter of plagiarism on air. He asks him to leave. The man says he got an invitation. He says Walter reminds him of his father who was institutionalized when he was young. Walter says he can stay. The man wanders off to follow a clown.
Sylvia appears and asks Harry to get a drink with her. Walter says he’s fine and surrounded by friends.
Jim finds Celia by the pool. He apologizes for losing her. She’s extremely drunk and cuddles up to him saying she needs to lie down.
Walter wanders through the party, somewhat despondant. Gardner and his date try to go into a bedroom, but Rosalie and the doctor are in there doing lines and talking. She says her first husband died of leukemia when they were 26 and a part of her died with him. She says Martin reminds her of him and has brought that part of her back to life. Walter opens the door and the doctor yells that they’re in session, then apologizes when he sees it’s him.
Walter tries the next room, but finds Jim laying Celia on the bed. Celia’s upset that Walter will think something’s going on between them. Jim offers to explain things to him, but she tells him not to bother. She asks him to find her purse, then gives him a quick kiss. As he’s leaving, she pulls off her shoes and he ogles her feet.
Shelly is arm wrestling with a larger woman. People are placing bets. Shelly wins.
Walter hears sirens and finds the psychiatrist on a stretcher. He had a cardiac issue and is being brought to the hospital. Rosalie says she’ll ride with him. Walter takes a joint from his son’s teacher and walks off. He sees Jeffrey making out with Sylvia’s mother and then Sylvia getting into a tent with Harry.
Sylvia tells Harry that he’s the nicest guy she’s met in a long time and that she’s also a ‘size queen,’ referring to the size of Harry’s penis.
Jim comes back to Celia’s room. He covers her up and puts her purse on the pillow.
Walter lays down in a deck chair with his joint. He passes out and sees the day he saved Harry in the war. He tells Harry he wouldn’t leave him.
As the camera pans out, we hear Sylvia say, “Oh, Harry! It’s true, it’s true!”
