Fear The Walking Dead closed out its first season last night, but that doesn’t mean we’re safe from zombies just yet. Not only is the original Walking Dead back this weekend, but there is also an online exclusive mini-series about zombies on a plane.
The project, now titled Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 426, was first rumored in August and is expected to introduce a character who will appear on Fear.
In the first episode, which only runs a minute and a half, we see a young boy get nervous about flying. A man also gets a notification on his phone that all flights have been grounded, and asks a flight attendant if they will actually fly. It looks like they will, even if they all turn into zombies in mid-air.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Flight 462 will be spread out over 16 episodes, with two episodes airing each night between The Walking Dead episodes. L. Signorino and Mike Zunic wrote the script, with Fear director of photography Michael McDonough directing.
The Walking Dead’s sixth season kicks off on Sunday at 9 p.m.
