Back to the Future is dominating the Internet lately, as next week marks the day that Marty McFly traveled to in Back to the Future Part II. With the original trilogy on everyone's mind once again, is there any chance we could ever see more of the franchise?

Well, Doc Brown himself now says in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he'd be willing to star in Back to the Future 4 if it were to happen.

"I would love to do Doc again, no question," he said.

Lloyd went on to explain that it would be extremely difficult to come up with a new story that's as good as the previous three, but he said that it could theoretically be done. If the fourth film ever did get made, Lloyd wants to be there, and he speculates that his co-star Michael J. Fox would return as well.

Though it's exciting to imagine, it doesn't seem like there will actually be any more Back to the Future.

In an interview with The Telegraph, director Robert Zemeckis said that he'd assure no remake or sequel ever happens, and both Zemeckis and screenwriter Bob Gale hold the rights until the day they die. In this new interview, Lloyd said he would never want to do another movie without Zemeckis and Gale's involvement.

So it seems unlikely we'll see Back to the Future 4, especially with Lloyd and Fox returning, but it sure is fun to think about.
