A flower girl and ring bearer who were just five-years-old at the time, have tied the knot 17 years later in the same South Carolina church.
Adrian and Brooke Franklin unintentionally got married in the same church they first walked down the aisle together in, with some of the same guests as the first wedding.
When the bride from their original wedding came to them with the photos, she thought it was the “neatest thing,” the bride said.
"We forgot that we were in the wedding together and she brought the photos to us,” she told ABC News.
Brooke said she instantly had a crush on her now-husband, who are now aged 21 and 22, and they started dating in their teens.
“We went to school together and I would always try to play with him on the playground and he wouldn’t have anything to do with it,” she told WBTV.
“I was always trying to get away from her and run from her and hide from her,” he added.
They got married on Sept. 19.
