The first boyfriend Khloe Kardashian had after her marriage to Lamar Odom ended was rapper French Montana, and he’s now commending the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star for standing by Odom during this difficult time.

While at the Tidal X 10/20 charity concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, French Montana praised his ex for remaining by her estranged husband’s side.

French called it a “beautiful thing” that Kardashian rushed to be by his side almost immediately after he was found unconscious in a legal brothel last week.

He has since made a miraculous recovery and has been discharged from the hospital he was in in Vegas, being transferred to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He still has a long road of recovery ahead.

"I feel like every woman should do that," French told Daily News. "I feel like once somebody's going through a critical condition, I feel like people should step up to the plate to help because once upon a time they had a real relationship when they was married, they still married."

On Monday, Kardashian broke her silence on Odom’s condition in a statement on her website, noting that “incredible strides have been made.”

“You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure,” she wrote. “Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!!”
