Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are being sued for $5 million by a Los Angeles International Airport employee after alleging Martinez attacked him for no reason.
The employee, Ronaldo Owens, has claimed that Martinez shoved an empty car seat at him knocking him to the ground.
A copy of the lawsuit says the incident occurred about nine months ago after Berry, Martinez and their children were escorted out of a corridor used for high profile passengers and that Owens was lawfully in the area when Martinez intentionally charged at him with the car seat without provocation, notes People. The lawsuit alleges the incident caused pain and humiliation to Owens.
The suit also goes on to claim that Berry aided and abetted in the assault doing nothing to stop it.
However, a video obtained by TMZ shows Owens trying to take pictures with his phone of the family just before being pushed.
Owens was treated at the scene and filed a police report which the L.A. city attorney declined to prosecute. He is seeking $5 million for medical and related expenses, past and future loss earnings and punitive damages.
The Hollywood couple's reps have yet to comment.
