Season four winner of Spike's Ink Master, Scott Marshall, has died at the age of 41.
TMZ reported that Marshall's wife, Johanna, broke the news. Saying that police officers told her on Sunday that Marshall died in his sleep. Early autopsy reports are showing that the cause of death might be a heart-related issue. Marshall is survived by three young children.
Spike TV issued the following statement:
"Spike and entire 'Ink Master' family are stunned and saddened by the news of Scott’s passing. He was a great competitor and talented artist. Our deepest condolences go out to the Marshall family and friends.”
Ink Master also posted an in memoriam to honor the former winner.
Fellow contestants of the reality TV competition have been expressing their condolences online.
Season four contestant Matti Hixson expressed his feelings after hearing this sudden news by saying, "I have been beside myself [since I heard]. He was my best friend, I feel like I lost a brother."
