Johnny Manziel admitted to drinking before a domestic incident Monday that lead the Cleveland Browns quarterback to getting pulled over, according to police.

ESPN reported Manziel told police he had been drinking earlier in the day when he was pulled over after witnesses called the police when they saw him arguing with his girlfriend. Manziel was not charged, since the officer determined that he was not intoxicated.

The Heisman Trophy winner from Texas A&M did a stretch in rehab earlier this year.

According to NewsNet5 in Cleveland, the police report shows that Manziel pushed  his girlfriend Colleen Crowley's head into a window. Police noticed an abrasion on Cowley's arm, but later established it was caused by Manziel's attempt to keep Crowley from getting out of the car.

Crowley did not press charges and the couple left the scene together.

"We were aware of the situation. It is a matter that we take seriously and have expressed our concerns to Johnny directly. Those conversations will remain private and we will refrain from further comment at this time," Browns General Manager Ray Farmer said in a statement.

Manziel has built a reputation the last couple years as a notorious partyer, leaving fans to question if he has his priorities straight. While this incident is certainly a step back for Manziel, Crowley is standing by him. TMZ reports that she posted on Instagram earlier, "J & I are good. I appreciate the people who stopped to check on us and call the police, I could see how it may have looked."
