ABC News’ Dan Harris dropped a bombshell on Good Morning America on Friday regarding the interview he conducted with Leah Remini about Scientolgoy for 20/20: Tom Cruise’s ex-wife, Katie Holmes, will appear on the special.
Cruise has admitted that one of the reasons Holmes, who has never publicly spoken about Scientology, filed for divorce was to protect their daughter, Suri, from the controversial religion.
"You're also going to hear from Katie Holmes, the former wife of Tom Cruise, and what she is now saying about Leah,” Harmon teased with the clip on Friday’s GMA.
Remini talked about Cruise, Scientology’s most famous public figure, in the clip and even revealed she got “written up” for an incident involving he and Holmes.
"He was like, forcibly kissing Katie. And I said, 'Hey, get a freaking room,'” she said. “And uh, well, I was written up for that."
Remini’s book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology comes out Nov. 3 and her full 20/20 airs Friday at 10pm.
