Khloe Kardashian is clearing the air when it comes to her situation with Lamar Odom. After calling off their divorce, Kardashian recently claimed in a new interview that they’re not back together.
Kardashian dropped everything to be by her estranged husband’s side when he was found unresponsive in Dennis Hof’s brothel earlier this month. She remained by his side until he started making progress.
When they filed to legally call off their divorce, fans assumed they were working it out. But Kardashiant told People it’s more complicated than that.
"There are too many other important things, too many medical things,” she said. “It's not even in our brains thinking about us as a couple or having a relationship right now."
She added, "I loved him always, and I will always love him. I don't believe love is fickle. I believe when you love someone, you are allowed to love from afar. You don't have to be with that person in order to love him."
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 31, who was dating NBA star James Harden when she got the horrible news that Odom was hospitalized, said it was a no-brainer to rush to his aid.
"All I knew was I had to get there," she said. "I had to get to him and make sure he was okay. I hate that he was in that situation. I wouldn't want anybody in that situation, especially someone I love and care about."
