A teacher, student and the suspected assailant are all dead after a terrifying attack Thursday at a school in Sweden.

FoxNews.com noted that police spokesman Thomas Fuxborg said the suspect had more than one weapon, including "one knife-like object” when carrying out the attack at the Kronan school’s café in Trollhattan, Sweden.

Police arrived on the scene just after 10 a.m. local time to find a male teacher stabbed to death, as well as another teacher and two students aged 11 and 15 wounded. One of those students, although it not yet clear which, later died at the hospital.

The 21-year-old attacker was fatally shot by police.

Upon hearing news of the tragedy Prime Minister Stefan Lofven delivered a statement calling it a "dark day" in the country.

"This is a dark day for Sweden. My thoughts go out to the victims and their families, pupils and staff and the entire community that has been affected. There are no words to describe what they are going through right now."

At this time a motive for the attack is unknown.
