Michael Buble is responding to rumors that reignited recently regarding the end of his relationship with Emily Blunt. After her appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show, cheating rumors started up again.

When Blunt was asked about it, she didn’t confirm or deny it, so Buble is now setting the record straight. He denies their relationship ended in 2008 after three years together because of his infidelity.

"Emily is a beautiful and loving person, and I'm grateful for the time I had with her, for the relationship," Buble told ET Canada. "Without it, I wouldn't have had a chance to fall in love with myself enough to be with a woman like my wife,” he continued of his wife, Luisana Lopilato.

“It didn't end because of cheating,” he also said. “It ended because we weren't right for each other, and we are now exactly where we're supposed to be in our lives."

Earlier this month, Blunt told Stern when asked about cheating rumors, "I don't know, it's complicated. I never want to talk about it. I can't do it."

She’s now married to former The Office star John Krasinski and they have a daughter, Hazel, 1. Buble and Lopilato have a 2-year-old son Noah and another baby on the way.
