Paula Deen’s time on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars has come to an end after she and her partner Louis Van Amstel were eliminated this week and she made an accusation about the judges in one of her exit interviews.
Deen and Van Amstel have consistently received low scores on the dancing competition show, and Deen claimed it’s because Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Julianne Hough never really wanted her on the show in the first place.
Deen told E! News of her tough critiques throughout the show, "It was apparent that they weren't crazy about me being here,” adding that they were “harder” on her "from the start.”
The celebrity chef, who was at the center of a racism scandal in 2013, went on to say that it didn’t bother her because she was dancing for the women at home, not for the judges.
“I wasn't dancing for them,” she said. “I was dancing for all those women out there that are sitting on their sofa. Get up and dance! Get up and dance girls!"
