Manny Pacquiao says he plans to fight one more time before he retires, and his opponent could be Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Pacquiao, who says he wants one more fight before retiring for good and pursuing a political career in the Philippines, says that a rematch with Floyd Mayweather, which was dubbed the ‘Fight of the Century,’ is not only possible, but in the talks, according to AFP.

While Mayweather, after defeating Andre Berto in a unanimous decision to finish 49-0 for his career, declared his own retirement, few in the boxing circle believe that the outlandish and brash Mayweather is done for good.

When these two last fought, the fight generated over $600 million in revenue, with Mayweather reportedly making over $200 million himself. Many pundits have criticized the fight, arguing it turned off casual boxing fans everywhere as Mayweather fought defensively and outpointed Pacquiao to a dull decision victory.

As a rematch with Mayweather is not yet set in stone, Pacquiao also dropped a few other names about whom his final potential opponent could be.

“That depends. It would be between seeking revenge (on Mayweather) or alternatively Amir Khan or former junior welterweight titlist Danny Garcia,” Pacquiao said via ESPNdeportes. But I don't know if Mayweather is going to fight again.”

Regardless of whom he fights, Pacquiao says he plans on pursuing a career as a congressman next year. AFP reported Pacquiao is set to win one of the 12 available senate seats, even though he only attended four out of 70 legislative sessions during his time as a congressman.
