Even though Star Wars is technically Disney in its own right now, there’s a funny video mash-up making the rounds today that brings Disney classics to The Force Awakens.
The video plays a bit like those memorable Lilo & Stitch trailers, where we saw Stitch pop-up in other Disney movies. Here, the PistolShrimps YouTube team had Disney characters pop-up in scenes from the Force Awakens teasers.
Some of the mash-ups are a bit obvious (Jakku becoming Simba’s Africa for example), but others are surprising. Sir Hiss from Robin Hood can be spotted and turning Rey (Daisy Ridley) into Belle from Beauty and the Beast is clever. Turning Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) into Captain Hook probably took a long time.
