CBS has committed to a pilot production of a new, unnamed comedy series to be developed by Tina Fey.
According to the Huffington Post, Fey will be collaborating with Robert Carlock, who she previously worked with on 30 Rock, along with Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Jack Burditt, who wrote 30 Rock and created Last Man Standing, will also be a writer for the new show.
Entertainment Weekly reported that the script will follow an athlete who can’t help but drive his friends and family crazy when he unexpectedly decides to retire.
It is undecided whether or not Fey will star in the show, as details are limited so far.
Fey has been keeping busy this year as she will soon be seen on the big screen alongside Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph in Sisters, which is for release in December.
She will also appear in the Carlock-written comedy Taliban Shuffle, which began filming in February and is said to be released in 2016.
