Tom Holland is super excited to make his debut as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, but the young actor recently revealed he suffered an injury while filming the upcoming movie.

In a conversation with Hey U Guys, Holland noted that he was hurt while filming his very last scene on Civil War.

"I basically fell over and bashed my face in front of about two hundred crew members, so not my most heroic moment," he said.

He went on to explain that they filmed the scene anyway and it ended up looking great, although he suspects they'll probably CGI out all the blood in post-production.

Holland also discussed his friendship with fellow Avenger Chris Hemsworth, who sent his new costar a note of congratulations and offered a few words of advice about enjoying life before the entire world knows who he is.

The actor will be introduced as Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War, which wrapped shooting back in August. After this debut, Spider-Man will be receiving his own solo film in 2017. Holland will be the third actor to portray Spider-Man in a live action movie since 2002 after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
