The obsession with celebrities and their twitter accounts is nothing new, especially to tweeting experts. However, as a Twitter user myself, I find some celebrity tweets to be nothing more than promotions that clog my time line. Or a ton of retweets by their fans that I really don’t care to see. So, we decided to come up with a list of celebrities that you will be happy you followed.
The R&B princess shows her down-to-earth nature by reaching out to fans and sparking conversations. She’ll regularly ask her followers what’s their up to while also talking about her whereabouts. She rarely promotes, which is a plus, and will sometimes post pictures of herself to keep her followers content.
She is known for being up front and honest, and this is also entirely true in her tweeting. She lets her true nature show, which almost always gives her followers a good laugh. Her one downfall is her promotions, but she limits them, leaving her feed to be one of the more interesting ones.
With 8 million followers, there’s a lot of pressure on Ashton to keep his feed interesting. A task which he seemingly has no problem doing. He tweets about four times a day, not too much, not too little, and shares his random thoughts with his followers. He speaks his mind freely and shares interesting information, a great quality in a Twitter personality.
The TMZ persona keeps his tweets lively and witty while also breaking celebrity news. He tweets numerous times a day, but, it doesn’t bother me like when other celebrities do it. I’m not sure whether he qualifies as a celebrity or not, but he is definitely worth it to follow.
Known for her spunkiness, Pink lets that shine through her tweets as well. She talks about her life as a mom and a performer and comments on whatever is interesting that day. With 5 million followers, she is definitely one of the over-looked Twitter personalities that deserves some more Twitter-lovin’.
His tweets are along the same lines as Harvey’s and just as enjoyable. Most of his tweets are in conversation with other celebs, but he squeezes in an opinion in there every once in a while. He also brings just the right amount of celebrity news to his followers so that they want to know more.
Ellen’s tweets are never disappointing. In fact, every time I look through my time line, I hope to see one of her tweets. She’s funny, light-hearted, and down-to-earth, and the links she shares are always worth it to check out. Plus, she’s almost always having some sort of contest going on.
3. Adam Levine
Adam is one of my personal favorites to follow. Some of his tweets seem to stir up some trouble, but that’s only because of his refreshing honesty. He relates to his followers and tweets just enough to keep them happy. When he does post a picture, it never disappoints.
With just above one million followers, Steve Martin is one of the most underrated Twitter personalities. His tweets are hilarious and thought-provoking, with little to no promotions, making him an ideal celebrity to follow.
1. Dane Cook
It was tough to choose between him and Steve Martin, but Dane Cook proved to the best celebrity to follow. He tweets things that people never have the guts to and makes the most simplest statements knee-slapping hilarious. He is also extremely underrated, with only 2 million followers, but choosing to follow him was one of my best decisions. He always brings a smile to my face. Keep tweeting Dane!
