Gretchen’s fake fight between her clients is back-firing on her. Now they are in a real fight and they each want to go solo. Even group therapy can’t solve this problem.
Edgar asks his acting improv teach, Dorothy, out on date. Go Edgar!
Jimmy is worried about Gretchen leaving each night. He asks Edgar and Lindsey (but not Gretchen?). So he snoops through her ancient flip phone.
Lindsey is finding that she doesn’t know how to function on her own. She doesn’t know how to pay bills, so she as no TV, electric, or hot water. She didn’t put oil in her car so she doesn’t have a car either. She calls Paul (since he always took care of everything when they were together) to figure out what to do, but he refuses to help since he’s moved on. As a result, Lindsey decides to crash at her sister’s place.
Jimmy takes Gretchen to a water bar (a bar that only serves water) to find out who is the only contact in her ancient flip phone. Turns out that Gretchen uses that flip phone to talk to one of her clients. Additionally, Gretchen’s ex owns the water bar. Good job Jimmy.
When Gretchen leaves in the middle of the night, Jimmy follows her to see where she goes. It turns out Gretchen drives to the middle of nowhere to cry by herself in her car. But Jimmy does nothing to figure out why she’s crying.
