ABC is planning to keep its Wednesday comedy lineup going even longer with new episodes. The network put in extra episode orders for Modern Family and its other three Wednesday comedies, along with Fresh Off The Boat.

Last month, Fresh Off The Boat got a back-nine order for its second season. However, the extra order will bring its episode count to 24, notes Deadline.

All four of ABC’s Wednesday comedies - black-ish, The Middle, Modern Family and The Middle - also received two extra episodes.

Both The Middle and Modern Family are in their seventh seasons, while black-ish is in the middle of season two. The Goldbergs is currently on its third season.

While these sitcoms are enjoying success, ABC is struggling a bit with The Muppets. The show only received a three-episode back order to make its first season run 16 episodes. It also lost its showrunner and is expected to be retooled once a new showrunner is picked.

When The Muppets ends its first season, Fresh Off The Boat moves to Tuesdays at 8 p.m. instead of 8:30 p.m.
