Back on Oct. 14 Tyra Banks announced the end of the hit reality televsion series America's Next Top Model but recent reports indicate the show may yet live on.
The show's producer Ken Mok is now trying to find a new home for the show and is pitching it to different cable and streaming outlets according to Deadline. Banks' on-screen involvement is uncertain at this time but she is expected to stay on as an executive producer.
Upset fans reacted immediately after the news was announced with disappointment. The series is currently in its 22nd cycle and has been very successful since its 2003 debut.
The show features aspiring models competing for a modeling contract with a top agency and a spread in a high fashion magazine. It gives the models a chance to learn the ins and outs of the industry from one of the very best.
CW is currently the series home but reruns also bring in good ratings on additional networks like VH1, Oxygen and Bravo and streaming platforms like Netflix and Hulu.
The finale is set to air Friday, Dec 4th.
