Angelina Jolie is used to filming sex scenes for movies, but not with her real-life husband.
Jolie opened up to Entertainment Weekly about directing and filming sex scenes with her husband, Brad Pitt, in their new movie, By The Sea.
"Love scenes are strange anyway, but when you're doing a love scene with a person that you really have sex with? The only way to get through it was for us to all talk about the absurdity of it and make sure no one was feeling awkward," Jolie said.
The actress continued to say that Pitt would get protective of her. The pair has been married since 2014, and together since 2005. The couple has six kids together; Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, Vivienne, 7 and Knox, 7.
Jolie continued to talk about how odd it was to direct Pitt in the bedroom.
"It’s the strangest thing in the world to be lying naked in a bathtub with an iPad that’s showing you the shot outside, while your husband is at the door and you're directing him to come in and make love to you," Jolie said. “[And] in front of a bunch of other men with cameras."
By The Sea got mixed reviews when it opened up The American Film Institute’s AFI Fest last week.
