Bravo has released two more spin-offs of the popular The Real Housewives franchise – Potomac, Maryland and Dallas, Texas.
While both new cities will premiere next year, Bravo already has a release date for Real Housewives of Potomac, an area outside of Washington D.C, as Jan. 17.
The all African American cast comprised of Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, follows in the footsteps of Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Shari Levine, exec vice president of current production for Bravo Media, told Variety in a statement, “The Real Housewives has become a global phenomenon that drives cultural conversation while consistently breaking ratings records.
We’re happy to extend the franchise with Potomac and Dallas giving Bravo fans more of what they desire: stories of dynamic women who make us laugh, cry, cheer and experience unforgettable moments we can’t stop talking about.”
The Real Housewives of Dallas hasn’t been cast yet, but executive producer of the franchise, Andy Cohen, called it a “natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that ‘ya’ll’ will enjoy.”
