Bravo just can’t have enough groups of Real Housewives. The network has announced two more shows for the franchise and both will debut in 2016.
Real Housewives of Potomac is the first and will debut on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 9 p.m. This series is centered in Potomac, Maryland, where there are gated mansions, prop schools and country clubs surrounded by rolling hills. The main group of six women the show follows are Ashley Darby, Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Katie Rost and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. These women have fought for their spots in society and will try to keep them.
Later this year, The Real Housewives of Dallas will debut to give the series a Texas twist. It focuses on southern socialites who try to reach the top of Dallas’ social world.
“The Real Housewives of Potomac is the show you never saw coming, and it’s going to take everyone by surprise!” Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen said in a statement today. “As for The Real Housewives of Dallas, it's a natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that 'ya'll' will enjoy.”
The Real Housewives franchise kicked off with The Real Housewives of Orange County, which started in 2006 and just finished its 10th season. Other entries in the franchise are set in New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey and Beverly Hills.
