While HBO announced a slate of air dates last week that should have gotten TV viewers excited, many others saw a reason to get nervous. That’s because the late start for HBO’s winter shows might mean that Game of Thrones’ sixth season will start later than usual.

HBO announced on Thursday that the highly anticipated Martin Scorsese-produced music drama Vinyl won’t start until Sunday, Feb. 14. The new seasons of returning comedies Girls and Togetherness won’t debut until the following weekend on Sunday, Feb. 21.

Girls and Vinyl will run 10 episodes each, while Togetherness runs eight episodes. Entertainment Weekly points out that this means that the three shows likely won’t end until the mid-April, even if all three shows ran without repeats over 10 weeks.

This all means that Game of Thrones likely wouldn’t premiere until April 17 at the earliest, but only if HBO doesn’t need to pair the show with Silicon Valley and VEEP. This year, Game of Thrones premiered on April 6.

So yes, it does look like we will have to wait a bit longer to see if Jon Snow is really coming back from the dead. And Game of Thrones could be continuing into early summer.

Thrones finally won the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series in September, and won a record 12 Emmys in total.
