It is a rainy day in Gotham and the Gotham Gazette’s headline is "Mayor Galavan Arrested." Tabitha goes into a bar and orders a special drink that gains her access into a secret room where Gotham’s top assassins are. She is injured and wants someone to take out Jim Gordon.

Jim is at the hospital and is told that Barbara is still in a coma and is being transferred to Arkham Asylum. He wants Galavan to pay for his crimes and the tension between him and Leslie is at an all-time high. Jim promises that they will discuss everything involving Barbara.

Bruce and Silver are talking at Wayne Manor. Alfred walks in and is surprised to see her. He asks her to leave and after a brief argument with Bruce she does. She slips Bruce her hotel room key. Bruce tells Alfred he had no right to do that. Alfred tells Bruce he thinks Galavan was just after Wayne Enterprises and warns Bruce to not trust Silver.

Penguin wakes up to see Edward standing over him. Edward injects him with a needle, knocking him out. Penguin later wakes up and Edward wants to help him recover from his injuries. Edward asks Penguin if he believes in fate and tells Penguin that he has started murdering people and wants to follow this path. Penguin warns Edward that this path only leads to destruction and sadness.

Jim is heading to Galavan’s penthouse when he is attacked by an assassin in the elevator. They fight and Jim eventually gets the upper-hand. He drags the man into the penthouse and answers his phone. This is the signal for the next wave of assassins to try and take out Jim. Jim, Barnes and Officer Parks are preparing for the fight when one assassin slips in and kills the ME and a shootout breaks out. They survive the shootout but an assassin dives at Jim and Barnes leaps in front of him, being critically stabbed in the leg.

Penguin wakes up and finds a man tied up in front of him. Edward tells him this is Mr. Leonard, a man that worked for Galavan. Edward informs Penguin of Galavan’s arrest and Edward thinks Penguin should kill him. Penguin refuses, says all he wants to do is get some rest and leave Gotham forever. Edward then drags Leonard away.

A deadly assassin named Eduardo Flamingo is burning and torturing people when he gets a call about his next target…Jim Gordon. Meanwhile, Barnes and Jim are waiting at the penthouse for backup and Barnes asks Jim what is going on with him. Jim is afraid he is going to cross the line and let the “monster” out of him that Leslie fears he has. Barnes tells Jim that their is no line…just the law.

Bruce tells Alfred that he agrees with what he told him and is going to bed early. Alfred calls out Bruce for lying when he holds up the room key Silver gave to Bruce. Bruce tells Alfred he is never going to stop pursing this while Alfred tells him he is not going to stop opposing him.

Penguin wakes up and hears Edward singing a familiar song. Penguin’s mother used to sing that to him before he went to sleep. Edward tries to convince Penguin that love is always going to be a weakness for them and tries to tell Penguin he is free. It seems that maybe an alliance between Penguin and Edward is forming.

Jim and Barnes are waiting for reinforcements when they are killed and Jim sees that Edwardo is outside waiting to kill him. Jim goes down there and confronts him and the two get into an intense fight. Edwardo is trying to kill Jim but Jim eventually gets the upper-hand and is very tempted to kill Edwardo. He decides instead to place him under arrest.

Edward and Penguin are singing together. It appears they are on the same page and Penguin asks Edward where Mr. Leonard is. Penguin is in the mood for some “entertainment.”

Bruce is sneaking around Wayne Manor and preparing to sneak out when Selina surprises him with a visit. She says she has proof that Silver is bad news. Bruce seems curious…

Flamingo is being taken into custody at GCPD but before he can be locked up, he takes a bite out of Officer Parks’ neck. She is bleeding all over the ground as the other officers try to pull him off. Leslie is at home with Jim helping him clean himself up. He was worried he almost crossed the line tonight. Leslie gets a call and tells Jim that Officer Parks’ was killed. Jim has a very disturbed look on his face.

Tabitha visits Galavan in prison. He is very upset that she sent hitmen after Jim and tells her everything is ready. Their plan is about to commence. He warns her if she ever tries to compromise it again, he will kill her.

We see Father Creel getting an group of men in monk cassocks. The men quickly kill one of the guards at the dock and then begin walking into Gotham…
