Gwen Stefani might have moved on from her marriage to Gavin Rossdale with her Voice co-judge Blake Shelton, but if she had it her way she would still be married.

After Stefani and Rossdale announced their split after 13 years of marriage in August, it’s been rumored the musician had an affair with their kids' nanny.

In a new interview with 94.7 Fresh FM’s The Tommy Show on Wednesday, Stefani didn’t discuss the rumors but she did say there are “so many bad things” that happened.

“I wish it didn't happen,” she said of their split. “I wish that all this wasn't happening, but … it was part of my life journey. In my life I've had two really bad heartbreaks, but I've written some really incredible music out of it."

The “Used To Love You” singer shares three kids with Rossdale; Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 20 months. She admitted she gets “sick” when she listens to old music she wrote the first time she got her heart broken.

“You look at the song and go, ‘That was a red flag and that was a moment where I was feeling just as bad as I do today and why did I keep it up?’” she said.

Now that she’s dating Shelton, she acknowledges that “good things” always emerge from bad situations. “I do get to have a second chance,” she said, “and I have a lot of joy right now."
