Nothing says ‘I love you’ like a big ruby ring. Just ask Teyana Taylor.
NBA star Iman Shumpert proposed to Taylor at her baby shower at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, Ohio, according to People. The pair is expecting their first child together in January.
Taylor shared multiple pictures of her new ruby engagement ring on Instagram. “I am his Ruby Woo… I’m still speechless. I love you baby!” the singer wrote.
In another picture she thanked her new fiancé. “Thank You @imanshumpert for putting the color back in my life! I love you so much," she captioned the shot.
Shumpert, who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers, ruptured the Extensor Carpi Ulnaris sheath in his wrist in September. He is expected to play again sometime in December.
Shumpert shared his excitement about becoming a dad on Facebook earlier this year.
“I couldn't be more happy than to share my first child with the woman I intended to have my family with,” he wrote. “Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr is expected to enter this world 1.16.16.”
