With news that Nickelodeon’s beloved Hey Arnold!, which ran from 1996 to 2004, is getting a TV movie, the voice actor who formerly provided Arnold’s voice has been exposed as Lane Toran.
Toran, who voiced the main character for the first 41 episodes of the show, is better looking than we would’ve guessed.
BuzzFeed reports Toran has done voice work for other cartoons ‘90s kids might’ve grew up with, like the Recess movies and another Nickelodeon show, Rocket Power.
In an Instagram video, Toran thanked BuzzFeed for featuring him in an article - which deemed him "insanely hot" - and confirmed he worked on Hey Arnold! in its first season.
“I really appreciate all the love. & thank you to @buzzfeed for the article,” he wrote. “I know I don't talk about 'Hey Arnold' on here so some of you that have been following me for a while might not know, but I did voice 'Arnold' for all of season 1 (until my voice changed). It's crazy to be a part of something that's still talked about and watched 20 years later.”
Earlier this month it was reported Hey Arnold! is getting a TV movie on Nickelodeon.
