Can't stand the wait for the Jessica Jones premiere? Good news: Netflix has just released some tantalizing new details via the full list of episode titles and plot summaries.
Each episode of Season 1 begins with "AKA," a remnant of the series' original title, AKA Jessica Jones. Here is the full list of titles:
- AKA Ladies Night
- AKA Crush Syndrome
- AKA It's Called Whiskey
- AKA 99 Friends
- AKA The Sandwich Saved Me
- AKA You're A Winner
- AKA Top Shelf Perverts
- AKA WWJD
- AKA Sin Bin
- AKA 1,000 Cuts
- AKA I've Got The Blues
- AKA Take a Bloody Number
- AKA Smile
The plot descriptions aren't too detailed, but they do offer some hints at at the season's overall structure. It's clear from this that Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is a significant part of Season 1 and is not just a minor character, as his name appears all over these synopses. Kilgrave (David Tenant) is also clearly the villain for the full season and the threat that will carry through all the way until the finale.
Probably the juiciest detail, though, is the description of the last episode: "Jessica and Luke get help from someone else in the neighborhood." Could this be referring to Daredevil making a drop in from Marvel's other Netflix series?
Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as a former superhero who opens up her own detective agency. Luke Cage, who will be introduced in Jessica Jones, is expected to receive his own Netflix show in 2016.
Though Daredevil was quite dark and violent for Marvel, Jessica Jones is being described as Marvel's most mature work to date, as we reported when the first episode was screened at New York Comic Con.
Netflix will debut all 13 episodes of Jessica Jones' first season on Nov. 20.
