John Stamos has been sentenced to three years of probation, stemming from the plea deal he took in his DUI case.
The Grandfathered star was arrested in June and entered rehab the following month. He wasn’t formally charged with a DUI until last month.
According to TMZ, Stamos’ plea bargain also includes agreeing to attend two hours of drug and alcohol counseling and attending 52 AA meetings over the next year.
At the time of Stamos’ arrest, someone called 911 to report a person driving erratically in Beverly Hills. He was then taken to a nearby hospital after getting pulled over.
In September, he opened up about the DUI and his rehab stint, explaining, “You either continue on that path—and some of it’s fun, but a lot of it’s not—or there’s this other thing, this golden opportunity sitting there with all this work and all this goodwill that you have going for you. That’s the key.”
He added, “I feel better than I’ve felt in a decade.”
