Kate Winslet stars alongside Liam Hemsworth in The Dressmaker and this role has made Winslet's daughter slightly jealous.

During an interview with BBC's The One Show, she explained that she talked with her daughter, Mia, 15, about shooting scenes with the Hunger Games star.

"When I told my daughter that I was shooting the scene that day, she spluttered ... I took it to be jealousy," the actress said.

She added that it was because of her daughter that she knew so much about Hemsworth before the two starting working together.

"It's only because of her that I know the name of the character that Liam plays in The Hunger Games – I wouldn't have a clue otherwise!" she revealed.

When it came to shooting some of the more intimate scenes, Winslet admitted that she felt bad for Hemsworth.

"But I did feel quite bad for Liam. He's a sweet guy but I couldn't stop giggling."

The Dressmaker is a period piece set in the 1950s in which Winslet plays a woman who comes back to Australian hometown and falls for Hemsworth's character.
