Mary-Louise Parker is breaking her silence on Billy Crudup leaving her for Claire Danes back in 2003 when she was seven months pregnant with their now-11 year old son, William Atticus.
Parker and Crudup had been together for seven years at the time Crudup left her for his 24-year-old co-star 12 years ago.
In an essay she penned called "Dear Mr. Cabdriver,” which is part of her book Dear Mr. You, she recalled an incident with a cab driver that happened right after Crudup left her.
She said the cab driver kicked her out after a heated exchange when he got lost on the way to a doctor’s appointment. “I don’t want you” she remembered him telling her, Daily News reports.
Parker went on to write, "No one does. I am alone. Look, see? I am pregnant and alone. It hurts to even breathe."
Danes and Crudup went on to date for four years and Danes spoke about it in an interview with Howard Stern recently, Us Weekly reports. "I was just in love with [Crudup]," she said. "And needed to explore that and I was 24... I didn’t quite know what those consequences would be."
